Hitchcock's Flag, (Notorious, with Flowers & Liquor), 2000-2003

Sometime ago, I would guess the late 1980's; I purchased the set stills (original 8x10 negatives and prints) for Alfred Hitchcock film "Notorious." The role played by alcohol in the film is evident throughout the set photographs. In addition, something I had not noticed through the viewing of the film initially, flowers are in almost every scene. I decided to make a work based on those elements. This final work is a pigment photographic composite, framed and face mounted to Plexiglass 32"x70" in an edition of three.
